The Dalkeith Singers are pleased to introduce their new Musical Director, Jessica Leary (pictured), who will be starting with the choir in January 2017. This follows the departure of our Musical Director, Cole Bendall, at the end of the autumn term after two and half years with the choir. We wish Cole all the very best with his new tutoring position at the University of Edinburgh, and indeed all his endeavours.

Jessica is a professional singer, teacher and choral conductor. She holds a Master of Music (Opera) with Distinction from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours from Edinburgh University. Jessica currently conducts several other choirs, including Pentland Junior Choir (Edinburgh), Vocal Ensembles (St Andrews University) and St Mary’s Chamber Choir (Melrose).
